Course
content – Overview of Memory Architectures, Design and analysis of
Phase-locked Loops (PLLs) and Delay-locked Loops (DLLs). PREREQ: ECE 5/410.
Note: This graduate
component of the course will emphasize on PLL design. It is recommended that
the graduate students have taken or are taking ECE
5/411.
For Graduate credit (ECE
518): A more complex design project
will be assigned and additional homework and exam problems may be given.

The
course will require extensive use of Cadence
Design System in Linux environment.

due at the beginning of class.
Neither the final exam nor final project will
be returned at the end of the semester.
